Prince Albert Police have charged a 24 year-old man with second degree murder.
On May 22nd, Prince Albert Police responded to a home where they found 44 year-old Norman Charles Custer, who was injured. He was transported to the Victoria Hospital and later died.
On Thursday, multiple divisions of the Prince Albert Police and Prince Albert RCMP coordinated to take a man into custody in an area just northwest of Prince Albert. The air support team with the Saskatoon Police Service was also called in to assist but was called off when the accused was taken safely into custody.
The 24 year-old, who has not yet been identified, has been remanded into custody and will make his first court appearance in Prince Albert on Monday at 10 a.m.
