The Prince Albert Historical Society wants to reconstruct two of the community’s oldest buildings: The Nisbet Church, and Blockhouse. The buildings were disassembled last year with much of the original structures preserved and put into storage. The society wants to restore the buildings and put them closer to their original locations on the riverbank next to the Historical Museum. The church was built in 1872. The Blockhouse was built as a stable in 1881. The society is launching a fund raising campaign. $200 thousand is needed for the work. Donations will be accepted online at https://bit.ly/2lPJhnH. All donations over $20 will be issued a tax receipt.
