As of this morning, anyone 65 and older who had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on or before March 22nd is eligible for their second shot. For residents in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District, the age limit is anyone over 50 regardless of when they received their first dose as long as there has been at least 21 days since their Pfizer shot and 28 days for Moderna.
For those whose first dose was AstraZeneca, the Saskatchewan Health Authority says you can receive the same vaccine or Pfizer or Moderna for your second dose once your age category is eligible. AstraZeneca clinics are scheduled to begin on Sunday.
You can book an appointment by phone or online, go to a drive-through or walk-in clinic, or check your local pharmacy. The school immunization program continues through this month for youth 12 and over.
All residents aged 12 and older are eligible for their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Note that only the Pfizer vaccine has been approved for use with residents aged 12 to 17.

Saskatchewan residents have multiple options for receiving first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccine when eligible. Once an individual is eligible for immunization they remain eligible and can be immunized at any time.
