Regina Police say around 8:50 Thursday morning, police were dispatched to 13th Avenue and Winnipeg Street for the report of a motor vehicle striking a pedestrian. Police arrived to find a male with injuries not considered life-threatening. Witness reports indicated that a vehicle struck the male, and the driver got out of the vehicle to assist the victim. When the victim refused, the driver got back into the vehicle and drove away.

Investigation led to the identity of the 37 year-old man behind the wheel. He was given two tickets: One for failing to stop for a pedestrian; the other for failing to report the accident.
