A man is facing numerous charges including impaired driving after an incident on Thursday.
That day Corman Park Police report receiving a complaint of an impaired motorcycle driver going north on Highway 11.
Corman Park Police and Saskatoon RCMP attempted to pull the motorcycle over and allege a brief pursuit was initiated. Due to public safety, the police say the pursuit was terminated. Officers say a few minutes later the motorcycle was located stuck in traffic on College Drive and the driver allegedly refused to get off the motorcycle. After a brief struggle, police report the driver pushed an officer and uttered a threat towards them. A Conducted Energy Weapon or taser was pointed at the driver and they were arrested without further incident.
The driver was charged with flight from police, impaired operation, refusal, resisting arrest, uttering threats to cause bodily harm and a ticket for failing to wear a helmet properly.
