Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watches Saturday afternoon for portions of the province including Saskatoon, Prince Albert and the Battlefords.  Tornado warnings were also issued for some areas as well, but are quickly ending as the weather system passes through.

The weather office says conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
