Where’s Frank? Well, he’s darn close to Regina. After more than 50 days on the road, walking from Saskatoon to the capital, the 94 year old is just 14 kilometers way from his goal. He’s looking forward to reaching the point where Regina will be in sight.
Frank says he has had a great time meeting people along the way and getting donations. He is also grateful for the support of the children and teachers that he has seen with all of the posters that have been put up.
Frank is raising money for the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon and the Shriners Hospital for Children. This is the last week for people to cheer him on by making a donation. So far, Frank has raised over $40 thousand.
When Frank’s walk ends, he will celebrate his 90th birthday and will receive his 50 years Shriners Service Pin.
