Seniors and Youth Connect is a new project being developed by the Saskatoon Council on Aging. It matches youth and older adults who can connect and learn from one another.
Executive Director June Gawdun believes social isolation has become an increasing challenge, especially since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. She hopes the Seniors and Youth Connect project will keep older adults mentally engaged while fostering positive attitudes about aging for younger people and helping them to develop leadership skills through assisting seniors to use technology.
