There was a power outage in Langham which lasted for just over 4 hours, ending just after 2 this afternoon (Mon) and now the Water Security Agency has issued a precautionary drinking water advisory. On its website, the WSA says the power outage caused a depressurization in the lines.
The water is back on but the advisory means those in the Town of Langham should boil any water that would be used for drinking, washing fruits and vegetables, for ice cubes or for brushing your teeth, until further notice.
