One Man is dead after a collision on Highway #16, near Wynyard.

Around 12:45 p.m. on Friday Wynyard RCMP responded to a call of a collision between an eastbound semi and a westbound car on Highway #16, about two miles west of Kandahar.  One man driving the semi truck was taken to hospital as a precaution. A man who was the lone driver of the car, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police report that Highway #16 is now open. Wynyard RCMP and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist continue to investigate.
