A 70 year old man from Saskatchewan Beach is facing 12 charges in connection to an over year long Regina Police Service investigation into the trafficking of stolen vehicles.

It began in June of last year with 4 stolen vehicles believed to be associated to a vehicle sales and rental company in the 3-thousand block of Dewdney Avenue. A suspect was arrested on Tuesday and police report that a 5th stolen vehicle from Calgary was seized. A search warrant led to the seizure of stolen vehicle parts and other evidence.

Maurice Joseph Aubichon is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime over and under $5-thousand, trafficking in property obtained by crime and tampering with Vehicle Information Numbers. Regina Police say the investigation is ongoing.
