Parkland RCMP are investigating a hit and run after a family walking their two dogs Saturday afternoon on the Range Road 34 in the area of Highway 627 witnessed one of their dogs being hit. The family says one of the dogs was hit as a vehicle approached after RCMP say it got too close to the vehicle. The driver stopped briefly and then left. The vehicle is described as a newer white sports car with damage to the front passenger side. The driver is a white male, short in height, slim build and a full but trimmed beard. Police would like to speak to the driver of the vehicle.
