Heat Warnings are in place for all of Saskatchewan with highs in the mid to upper thirties for the next few days and overnight lows in the high teens and twenties.  Fifteen new hot weather records were set in the province and the hot spot in Saskatchewan on Wednesday was Stony Rapids Airport where the mercury climbed to 39.8 degrees.  The hotspot in Canada was Ashcroft, British Columbia on Wednesday where the temperature reached 47 degrees Celsius or almost 117 degrees Fahrenheit.
