Saskatoon Police have charged a 16 year-old boy for driving in excess of 100 kilometres per hour over the posted speed limit.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Friday night, a traffic unit officer allegedly clocked a vehicle going 192 kilometres per hour in a 90 kilometres per hour speed zone on Highway 16 just west of Zimmerman Road. The driver was issued a $1380.00 ticket and his vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.
Police would like to remind motorists to obey all traffic laws in order to arrive at their destination safely.
