Regina Police have turned up more than $38 thousand worth of alleged stolen property, and a 56 year old Grenfell man is facing charges.
On July 8, members of the Online Stolen Property Unit were alerted to a suspicious male selling, what appeared to be, brand-new merchandise online. Over the course of several days, an investigation led to the recovery of dozens of household items, all allegedly stolen from a local business. Items ranging from camping supplies to power tools to a wakeboard were found stored in a hotel room, a vehicle, and a storage locker in Regina. Officers also reportedly recovered a firearm.
Joseph Paul Evrard, of Grenfell, is facing firearm and Property Obtained by Crime charges.
