A Cumberland House Cree Nation man has been arrested, charged and has appeared in court to face nine charges in relation to an executed July 7 search warrant by a combined R-C-M-P force from the Cumberland House, Nipawin and Saskatoon detachments on a Cumberland House Cree Nation residence.

Thirty-seven-year-old Williams Dorion was arrested on the scene after 37 grams of methamphetamine, a modified firearm, ammunition, a sum of cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia were seized. Dorion’s next court appearance will be July 20.
