The City of Saskatoon says that water pressure for residents in Avalon and West Stonebridge neighbourhoods is affected because of water main work near Ruth Street East and Wiggins Avenue. The combination of warm, dry temperatures; increasing water use; and work to the primary water main compounded the situation.
Repairs to the break in the primary water main have been completed; however, normal water pressure is expected to return in about 3 days.
Water quality is not affected; water is still safe to drink.
