The push continues from the Saskatchewan Health Authority to get provincial residents fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The S-H-A says they have 56,000 booked appointments available for first and second dose immunizations at clinics throughout the province, with all three brands of vaccine available, Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca. The S-H-A points out that the best protections against the novel coronavirus and its variants of concern is to be fully immunized, adding that studies show that, after two doses of vaccine, there is an 85-to-98 per cent reduction in hospitalizations from the Delta variant.
