there are heat warnings out for the areas of Saskatoon, Regina, Humboldt, Kindersley, Martensville, Outlook and Prince Albert

Daytime highs will climb once again into the low to mid-30s with tonight’s overnight low in the mid to high teens.

Things will ease through portions of the region later tonight. Areas further south will see the heat remain in place for the weekend with some areas getting a brief reprieve to start next week with highs reaching the high 20s.

However, the heat wave will redevelop over the Prairies after that, lasting through to the end of next week.
