Punnichy RCMP are asking for the public’s help in relation to a fatal pedestrian accident. Officers responded Thursday morning around 7:15 to a report of an injured man on the 640 Grid, just north of the Gordons First Nation. The man was pronounced dead on scene. From the preliminary investigation, RCMP say the man was struck by a vehicle, but the vehicle and driver weren’t there when police arrived. Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP or report it anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
