There are 46 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Saturday.
The province also is reporting another person who tested positive for the virus has died. Information on the age group and location of that person is currently unavailable.
With 18 recoveries the active case count went up to 340, but is down 43.8 per cent in the last 30 days. There are currently 54 active cases in Saskatoon, while the far north west has the most active cases with 92.
There are 63 people in hospital, including 11 in intensive care. The seven day average of new cases in Saskatchewan is 36 or three per 100,000 people.
On the vaccination front 6,856 new doses were reported, bringing the grand total in the province to 1,381,066. The number of fully vaccinated residents is now at 625,944.
