Two men from Duck Lake are facing charges after a Saskatoon Police investigation into a hit and run involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.
Police responded to the area of Spadina Crescent East and Ravine Drive on Wednesday night and were told the motorcycle was struck by a vehicle, which then fled the scene. The Saskatoon Police Service Air Support Unit located the vehicle speeding in Silverwood Heights, and it was intercepted by Patrol officers in a parking lot on Wanuskewin Road.
Charges for a 21 year old man include impaired driving causing bodily harm, failing to stop at the scene of an accident that resulted in bodily harm and assault causing bodily harm.A 24 year old man is charged with uttering threats to cause death. The 43 year old man driving the motorcycle was transported to hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries.
