As we close in on the possibility of a fall election, Pollster “Leger” says, the Liberals hold a seven point lead over the Conservatives among decided voters; 36 per cent say they would vote Liberal and 29 per cent Conservative. That’s an increase of 3 points for the Liberals and a drop of two points for the Tories, when compared to an Angus Reid survey done mid July.
When asked in the Leger poll, “Who would make the best Prime Minister,” 27 per cent said Justin Trudeau, 19 per cent Jagmeet Singh, 11 per cent Erin O’Toole, three per cent Maxime Bernier of the People’s Party and only one per cent for Annamie Paul of the Green Party.
