Five people, including four youth, are facing charges after a robbery in Regina early Saturday morning.
At approximately 3:17 am, members of the Regina Police Service responded to the area of Arcola Avenue and Victoria Avenue for a complaint of a robbery which had reportedly occurred outside on the street. Prior to police arrival, suspects had allegedly fled the area where a male victim sustained minor injuries caused by bear spray. Personal items were stolen from the victim.
A short time later, officers located four teenaged girls and a 20 year-old man in the 2200 block of Harvey Street, who allegedly matched the description of the suspects.
The four youths arrested cannot be named due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act but a 15 year-old, 14 year-old and 13 year-old face charges including robbery, while another 15 year-old faces charges of accessory after the fact.
20 year-old Avison McKay of Regina is charged with Robbery and failing to comply with probation orders.
