To date, there have been 50,614 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, including 54 cases reported in Monday’s provincial update. The seven day average of new cases has risen to 71 as compared to 52 a week ago. That’s an almost 36 per cent increase.
The province is reporting no new deaths for a total to date of 582. The number of active cases is 650, which is a decrease of 6 from Sunday’s report. Fifty-five people with COVID-19 are in the hospital, including 14 in an ICU.
Another 1,197 vaccines were given out on Sunday and 880 of them were second vaccinations, meaning another 880 people are fully vaccinated.
