The family of Tammy Brown will have to wait a bit longer for the sentencing of Blake Schreiner.

Schreiner was found guilty of second degree murder back on June 10th and initially sentencing had been scheduled for August 3rd. A hearing has now been scheduled for Friday, September 10th.

On January 29th of 2019 Tammy Brown was stabbed approximately 80 times. Brown’s common-law husband Blake Schreiner was arrested and then charged with first degree murder. The second degree murder verdict usually carries a sentence of life in prison with no parole for at least 10 years. The upcoming hearing is expected to also include parole details.
