Since it was the first practice for the Saskatchewan Roughriders after the bye week, there was a lot to see Tuesday.
Offensively, Canadian receiver Cory Watson was back with the starters while Canadian receiver Justin McInnis was back on the field as well. Import Jordan Williams-Lambert was with the back-ups. Along the line, Brendon LaBatte was at left guard while Dakoda Shepley rotated in at right guard with Dariusz Bladek. Shepley was also getting reps as the sixth lineman in short-yardage situations. Defensively, Charleston Hughes was back with the starters on the line while Zack Evans was in his first practice since being placed on the six-game injured list…working with the back-ups. Plus, receiver Patrick Lavoie and guard Philip Blake were both running sprints on the sideline Tuesday as well. Both are still on the six-game injured list. The Riders visit Toronto Saturday.
