Carlyle RCMP are reporting that two men wanted on warrants have been found. Cyrus Campeau and Justin Desjarlais were arrested by the Regina Police Service on August 8th and both have court dates in October. Early in the evening on July 28th, Carlyle RCMP were alerted about an assault outside a business on the Pheasant Rump Nakota Nation. Officers were told a man had been assaulted by a group of individuals. He was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
About an hour later, the RCMP received a complaint about someone firing a gun at a vehicle on White Bear First Nation. No one was injured. Investigators believe the two incidents are connected. Later, with assistance from multiple RCMP Detachments, two people were arrested and charges – Demitrius Standingready and Jordan Desjarlais.
Nineteen year old Cyrus Campeau and 22 year old and Justin Desjarlais were charged with aggravated assault and warrants were issued for their arrests. Eleven days later they were found.
