Since Wednesday morning, Prince Albert RCMP have been looking for two suspects in connection to the theft of a white truck involving a firearm in the R.M. of Buckland north of Prince Albert.
The RCMP have been advising the public may notice more police presence in the area north and west of Prince Albert, including Sturgeon Lake First Nation, Little Red River First Nation, and the R.M.s of Buckland and Shellbrook.
Police say the investigation continues and urges the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
Also, efforts to locate a man charged in connection to a robbery with a firearm last Saturday on the Little Red River First Nation continues.
There is a warrant out for the arrest of 25 year old Glen Frederick Halkett, also known as Baby Glen, of Sturgeon Lake First Nation.
Police advise that if you see him, don’t approach and instead call 911.
