Job Action is set to begin at 12:01 am on Monday at SaskTel. Bargaining is currently underway at seven Crown Corporations. Unifor has strike mandates for all of them. That involves nearly five thousand employees. Saskatchewan’s Finance Minister says essential services will be maintained if the workers go on strike.
Donna Harpauer says the Crown Corporations will utilize management staff in their contingency plans in the case of strikes.
Thursday morning, Unifor National President Jerry Dias will preside over a news conference in Regina.
