There are 131 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan and there have been 82 recoveries. The province says 78 per cent of the new cases were unvaccinated, ten per cent were partially vaccinated and fourteen per cent had both their shots. The total number of active cases in the province is 1,066, which is an increase of 49 from Tuesday.
There are no new deaths in the report, so the total to date remains at 586. Eighty-two people are in the hospital, including 15 in ICU. The number of people given their first dose of vaccine has increased by three per cent from a month ago, with a total of 771,853 people having had their first shots.

- As of August 18th, a total of 82 individuals are hospitalized, including 67 inpatient hospitalizations and 15 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 82 patients, 63 (77%) are not fully vaccinated.
