Six people have been arrested by the Saskatoon Police Service and they are facing more than a hundred charges in connection to a weapons investigation and a search warrant. On Monday afternoon around 1, members of the Guns & Gangs Unit, the Tactical Support Unit and Patrol executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Avenue Q South, in the Pleasant Hill neighbourhood.
Police say two sawed-off firearms were seized – one was loaded and the other had readily accessible ammunition.
Three 35 year olds (two men and a woman), a 24 year old man, and two 32 year old men, all from Saskatoon, are facing firearms-related charges. Some are facing breach of release orders and two of the men also had Criminal Code warrants for their arrests.
