Saskatoon Police say a 25 year old man is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carry a Concealed Weapon and he also had numerous outstanding warrants for his arrest, after officers responded to a domestic dispute Tuesday evening.
Someone called police at 6:50 p.m. saying a woman and two children were inside an apartment in the 16-hundred block of 33rd Street West where a man was causing damage.
When officers arrived the two kids were outside with the person who’d called, unharmed, and a woman along with the suspect were inside the suite. Police say the woman told them the man was armed with a tire iron and officers believed, with the violent behavior he was displaying, that he was under the influence of methamphetamine.
A CEW was used to make the arrest. Police seized a tire iron, numerous meth pipes, screw drivers, and a knife.
