The Saskatoon Fire Department says an early Saturday morning garage fire was intentionally set.

Following conclusion of its investigation, the S-F-D say witnesses saw a vehicle stop in the 800 block of Main Street with an individual getting out and lit a fence on fire on the property. The fence fire soon included a nearby garage before fire crews were able to arrive on the scene. The fire was brought under control in six minutes, however investigators say damage is estimated at $5,000. Anyone with more information is asked to call the Saskatoon Police Service.
