Saskatoon Police have made an arrest and are looking for another suspect in the unlawful confinement of a 20 year old woman on Tuesday.

Police say they were called out to an apartment in the 400 block of Avenue B north around 3:30 in the afternoon to check on the welfare of a woman after receiving a report that she may have been held in a suite against her will.

When officers arrived they discovered a woman who had been beaten up suffering serious but non-life threatening injuries. She was sent to hospital while another 20 year old woman inside the suite was arrested.

She is charged with Assault and Unlawful Confinement. A third woman fled the scene but she has also been charged. The Guns & Gangs Unit is investigating.
