The Saskatoon Police Service says the incident involving a weapon which was reported mid-afternoon on Friday has been resolved.

Officers were alerted about a report that a woman had sent a video showing she had firearms and was threatening to harm herself or others. Because there was a possibility of guns being present, the Tactical Support Unit responded with an Armoured Rescue Vehicle to the 80 block of Davidson Crescent in the Westview neighbourhood. Officers were able to make contact with the woman and take her into custody without incident.

Police say two replica firearms were found during a search of the home. No one was injured during this incident.
