Two Calgary men are facing drug trafficking charges after fleeing from Saskatoon Police officers on Sunday evening.

A patrol officer saw a suspected stolen vehicle traveling in the area of 22nd Street West and Avenue P North at about 11:30 p.m. on August 29. The vehicle avoided a police traffic stop at high speed. The air support unit was able to locate and track the vehicle as it drove erratically and at a high rate of speed towards downtown. The two suspects were then seen exiting the vehicle on 2nd Avenue and entered a hotel in the 200 block of 21st Street East. They were found in a room and arrested. Further investigation found cocaine and cash in, both, the room and the vehicle. The two men, aged 21 and 22, both face four criminal charges.
