The new Federation of Sovereign Indian Nations building, near Saskatoon’s John G. Diefenbaker Airport, will be adorned by a new F-S-I-N Ceremonial Teepee, located in front of the structure. F-S-I-N Chief Bobby Cameron pointed that the logs used as the poles for the teepee were flown in from Bella Bella, British Columbia, and are approximately 400 years old. Cameron added, “They will stand in front of the new home of the F-S-I-N for the next 400 years.” The ceremonial teepee will stand as a symbol of pride and unity for decades to come, holding great significance for First Nations people.
