About 8 hours after the accident occurred, Saskatoon Police declared the area at Highway #41 and Highway #5, as all clear. At 1:46 p.m. Tuesday police received a call regarding an accident between a semi and a car. The driver of the car, a 22 year old woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi was not injured. Two westbound lanes of highway 5 were closed and the eastbound lanes were restricted while the Collision Analyst Unit conducted their on-scene investigation. The roads are now open.
