A 46 year old woman suffered a non life threatening injury from a gunshot on Wednesday night. Saskatoon Police say officers responded to a business on Idylwyld Drive North just before 11 p.m. and were told the woman had been walking between Minto Place and Stanley Place when an unknown male approached and asked her for money. When she refused, she was shot.

All that is known at this point is the male was reportedly dress in dark clothing, wearing a hat and carrying a backpack. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
