Saskatoon Police say they tried to pull over a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner near 22nd Street and Circle Drive around 2 a.m. this morning but it refused to stop. The vehicle headed out of Saskatoon eventually making its way to Highway 12 and throughout this incident the Air Support Unit was tracking the movements of the suspects allowing ground patrol officers to successfully deploy a stud belt.

Police say the vehicle was abandoned and allege the suspects dropped objects as they fled before trying to hide in a field. Officers recovered approximately 450 grams of Methamphetamine and 50 grams of cocaine.

A 45 year old Arborfield man and a 21 year old Prince Albert woman are facing a variety of drug charges and are in court this afternoon (fri).
