The Saskatoon Fire Department reports that emergency crews had to help two people get out of a vehicle on Tuesday. Just after 2:30 in the afternoon, the Fire Department responded to a two vehicle accident at College Drive and McKercher Drive. It was determined the airbags had deployed, leaving two people trapped inside one vehicle, so the rescue unit’s hydraulic cutting tool was used to free them. Once they were removed, their care was transferred to the ambulance service.
