The Gordon Tootoosis Nikaniwin Theatre is presenting a world premiere at the Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan stage tonight (Fri) through the 18th.
One of the actors in the play, Jennica Grienke, describes Shadows Among the Prairies as a story about a woman who wakes up in a world of limbo, forced to deal with the life she lived and the choices she made, so she can find peace.
She says it has drama, suspense, and although it death and tragedy, there is also a lot of humour and heart.
This world premier marks a return to the live stage for GTNT.
