The Assistant Commissioner of the RCMP says the 2 teens who killed 3 people in northern British Columbia this past summer before killing themselves admitted to doing so in videos police uncovered when they found their bodies in northern Manitoba. Kevin Hackett says 19 year old Kam McLeod and 18 year old Bryer Schmegelsky also voiced the intention to kill others.
The videos won’t be released for fear it would spear on copy cat situations and because it’s believed the Port Alberni teens may have recorded the videos for notoriety .
The bodies of Australian Lucas Fowler and his American girlfriend Chynna Deese were found south of Liard Hot Springs in July, and in a separate incident, the body of an instructor at the University of B.C., Leonard Dyck was found a few kilometres away from his vehicle.
McLeod and Schmegelsky were spotted in Meadow Lake at one point and security footage confirmed they had been there.
