A 20-year-old Regina man faces 10 charges of mischief under five thousand dollars following a series of vehicle damage incidents in the early hours of Monday morning. The Regina Police received a call at about 12:53 a.m. on September 13 in the 900 block of Athol Street as a man was said to be striking vehicles with a garden hoe. Police arrested Paul Keepness off the description given by witnesses in the 1200 block of Garnet Street following a brief foot chase. In total, 10 vehicles were damaged. The damage ranged from smashed windshields to side windows, back windows and mirrors and took place in the 900, 1000 and 1100 blocks of Athol Street. Keepness is also charged with fail to comply with release conditions. He was to make his first appearance in Provincial Court on Monday afternoon.
