Two of three suspects involved in a kidnapping from last week in Yorkton are still at large.
However, Dustin Kennedy was arrested at a residence in Yorkton without incident. He has appeared in court and has been remanded to appear September 24 in Yorkton. Tyson Ledoux and Scott Cook have yet to be located. Thirty-year-old Ledoux (pictured below) of Regina and 34-year-old Cook (pictured above) of Yorkton are each been charged with one count of robbery with firearm, kidnapping with firearm, forcible confinement and unauthorized possession of a firearm. At about 2 a.m. on September 7, a man got out of a vehicle and grabbed an adult male who was walking in an alley off Independent Street, pulling him inside the vehicle. The victim was taken to a garage and threatened with firearms until he was released on the morning of September 8. Yorkton R-C-M-P believe this is an isolated incident, although the victim and the three suspects are known to one another. Anyone who sees any of the victims is urged to not approach them, but to call your local police service or Crime Stoppers.
