A three-pronged call to action by the provincial government has been stated by the President of the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation. Patrick Maze (pictured) wants the Sask Party government to take immediate steps towards protecting school children, especially those under the age of 12 who are not eligible to be vaccinated against COVID-19. The S-T-F wants the province to introduce a Public Health Order throughout Saskatchewan for masks and mandatory isolation that protects children who can’t be vaccinated, plus act upon an August 16 request to mandate vaccines for all eligible school staff and students and provide a detailed breakdown of case counts, hospitalizations and I-C-U admissions for additional age categories of those Under-19 years.
