Wednesday is the 30th anniversary of a homicide in Prince Albert with police there still looking to solve the murder of Jean Lachance from September 15, 1991.
Lachance’s body was discovered along the bush line in a field south of Victoria Hospital. Lachance had five children between the ages of four and 11 at the time of the homicide. She was last seen on September 15, 1991, a Saturday night, at the former Coronet bar at closing time.
