The Aly Jenkins Memorial Mixed Doubles Curling Bonspiel continues today and runs through tomorrow in Martensville. There are 36 duos taking part, split into six pools of six teams for round-robin preliminary play. From there, 12 couples advance into the single knock-out playoffs. The winner gains a berth into the Canadian Olympic Mixed Doubles Trials, being held December 28th through January 2nd in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. There is also 32-thousand dollars in prize money to be split amongst the playoff duos. Today’s draws go at 8:30 and 11:30 a.m., 3 and 6:30 p.m.

The 11th, and second-last, event of the 2021 Saskatoon Stock Car Racing Association season goes today at Wyant Group Raceway. It’s Points Finals Day with racing in the Super Late Model, Bandolero, Sportsman and Street Stock divisions. Gates open to the public at Noon with racing at 2 p.m.
