The People’s Party of Canada will focus their attention on “building” the party. The PPC had their national headquarters at the Saskatoon Inn with hundreds of people in attendance, the majority of whom were not masked. Leader Maxime Bernier told his supporters that they’re the only party against COVID-19 restrictions.
“The only party that is opposed to all this nonsense that is destroying our society, our economy and our country.”

The party decided to hold their headquarters in Saskatoon given that prior to Friday, there were no public health orders in the province.
A tweet issued by the Saskatoon Police Service Monday night said they were aware of the event.

The party garnered as much as five per cent of the vote nation-wide versus less than two per cent in the last election. Bernier did not win his sit in Quebec.
The final seat count in the 2021 federal election is still not known. Although we do know there will be another Liberal minority government with an electoral map essentially unchanged from two years ago. There are a few dozen seats in Canada where the outcome could change when more than 780-thousand mail-in ballots begin to get counted today.
